Current common sense is realizing that today's politics make no sense.   That may be the most sensible “common sense” statement of the day. Today’s politics often feels less like problem-solving and more like a food fight in expensive suits. Too many people start with, “My side must win,” instead of, “What actually helps regular folks?” Real common sense still sounds pretty simple: Listen before shouting. Check facts before believing. Fix problems before blaming. Serve people before party. Sadly, that last one seems to be on backorder.
