Arthur and the Pesky Fly - Dealing with Pop-Ups and Malware
This guide (#8 of 14) focuses on simple steps for safely closing malicious or annoying browser windows without clicking on them.
Here's the prompt I used to create the lesson:
"Generate a short Storybook explaining how to safely deal with unwanted pop-ups and fake virus warnings (malware scares). Use the analogy of a 'Pesky Fly' that's annoying but harmless if you don't engage with it. The guide must clearly instruct the reader NOT to click any button on the pop-up, but instead, use the simple 'X' button in the corner of the entire web browser window to close the problem safely. Keep the steps basic and easy to remember."
Key Lesson - How to safely close a pop-up window or browser tab without clicking on a scam button inside it.
I used Copilot's Storybook to create this lesson, ZOOM's Clips to record the story (lesson) and ScreenPal do any final editing and to upload the lesson to YouTube.
