Eleanor's Digital Scrapbook - Backing Up Files

This guide (#9 of 14) focuses on The Power of Backing Up Files

This addresses one of the most devastating outcomes of a cyberattack (like ransomware or device failure): losing irreplaceable memories and documents.

Here's the prompt I used to create the lesson:

"Create an encouraging Storybook guide for seniors explaining why they must back up (save copies of) their important photos and documents. Use the analogy of a 'Digital Scrapbook' and explain that keeping a copy on an external drive or in 'the cloud' is like keeping a spare, locked copy in a safe place. The guide should focus on the idea that if a device breaks or is attacked, their memories are safe. The tone should be gentle and non-technical."

Key Lesson - How to protect irreplaceable photos and files from loss due to device failure or a cyberattack.

I used Copilot's Storybook to create this lesson, ZOOM's Clips to record the story (lesson) and ScreenPal do any final editing and to upload the lesson to YouTube.
